Independent developer Red Wasp Design has announced that it's bringing turn-based strategy-RPG Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land to Apple's App Store on January 30th.

Set during World War I, the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired horror title sees a team of soldiers and investigators struggle against an evil cult who are hell-bent on using the war's death toll to summon an unspeakable evil.

As you can see from the batch of screenshots in our gallery above, there are several different weapons, equipments, and armours to utilise, as well as various stats and skills to boost.

Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land will launch early next year in standard- and high-definition versions for the iPhone and iPod touch, with iPad, Android, PC, and "game console" editions all planned for a later date.

We'll keep you updated with any new info as we get it.
