BBC Micro emulator optimised for the Xperia Play

There are plenty of NES, SNES, Game Boy, PlayStation, and even Atari emulators on the Android Market, but now you can add the BBC Micro to that list, thanks to developer Little Fluffy Toys.

Beebdroid is free [download] and comes fully optimised for the Xperia Play. It also runs on most Android phones and tablets released after the HTC Desire and Nexus One, i.e. early 2010.

The BBC Micro was a computer produced by British company Acorn, which ran several popular games including the highly praised Elite and a slew of arcade clones. Like other emulators, Beebdroid doesn’t include any of the ROMs: they will need to be downloaded separately. XperiaGamer
