Bronze Award-winning iOS card game Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer gets first expansion pack - Return of the Fallen

Last year, Playdek released deck-building card game Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer on iPhone and iPad. It received positive feedback from card game aficionados, and even scooped a Pocket Gamer Bronze Award.

Now, the developer is hoping to build up its deck with the release of an in-app expansion set for Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer, entitled Ascension: Return of the Fallen.

Available only through the original game, the expansion - ahem - pack adds a whole host of new Heroes and Contructs for you to acquire, helping you to face down Samael the Fallen God and save the world from annihilation.

You can play the Ascension: Return of the Fallen expansion set as a standalone game in one or two-player modes. Alternatively, you can combine the expansion pack with the original game to enjoy some four-player strategy action.

Featuring over 120 hand-drawn images, online and offline multiplayer, an in-game timer, and a variety of new cards and rewards, Ascension: Return of the Fallen is available to download via Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer's menu screen.
