Apple has successfully blocked the exploit used by Russian hacker Alexey Borodin to circumvent in-app purchases, and will roll out the security update in iOS 6.

In a post on in-appstore.com, Borodin declared that Apple’s latest security updates would not allow his hack to work and that 'It's all over... for now.'

Apple took temporary steps to block Borodin’s hack, but the upcoming release of iOS 6 will permanently close the loopholes that Borodin used for his exploit.

Game over?

Borodin went on to don a white hat in his post today, claiming that the move to close the security holes is 'good news for everyone' as it leads to increased security in iOS 6 and allows developers to maintain a profit from their IAP models.

Despite Apple's quick response to Borodin, he finished his statement by stating that he was not quite done testing the Cupertino-based company's security just yet.

His next target is the App Store for OSX, which is apparently still vulnerable to his hack.
