Cupertino love
People clearly love Apple's products. With the new iPad, The Big A enjoyed the "strongest iPad launch yet" and shifted around three million units in just three days, after all.
According to CNBC's All-America Economic survey, a whopping 51 per cent of all households in the United States own at least one of Apple's shiny gadgets. That means there's an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac in 55 million American homes.
On average, each US home has around 1.6 Apple devices, but the survey notes that people who buy products from the Cupertino-based company tend to own at least three.
Furthermore, almost one quarter of the people that took part in CNBC's All-America Economic survey plans to snap up at least one more Apple-branded product sometime in the next year.
Buying bigIt's hardly surprising to see that the number of Apple products a person owns is related to the amount of money he earns in a year given the fact that MacBooks and iMacs are often relatively expensive.
For example, only 28 per cent of people that earn less than $30,000 / year own an Apple device, whereas 77 per cent of those that earn at least $75,000 a year have one of Tim Cook's company's gadgets.
