If it’s for Chinese New Year, they missed that date by a sling shot

Rovio has teased an image on its Facebook page showing everyone’s favourite bunch of birds-wot-are-angry chillin’ in what looks to be a Chinese-themed setting, with the tagline “Can you guess where the Angry Birds are headed?”.

At most other times of the year we’d guess this was a hint as to the next Angry Birds Seasons update, given that it’s hardly in keeping with previous updates found on Rio. The original game only just recently received a new update, so it’s unlikely to be that one either.

However Chinese New Year was in February, so either Rovio set their calenders wrong, or it might not be a new set of themed levels after all.

You can be sure of one thing though - there will be something to do with China and Angry Birds (a trade deal, perhaps?) revealed at some point in the near future.
