Android version updated with new levels

Rovio's Angry Birds Space flies its way to 100 million downloads

Rovio's mildly popular physics-puzzler Angry Birds Space has been downloaded a staggering 100 million times since the Finnish developer catapulted it onto Apple's App Store and Google Play in March.

Android owners will also be pleased to read that the latest Angry Birds Space update, which actually landed on the iPhone and iPad last week, is now available to download for your 'droid devices.

The update introduces ten all-new levels set on Utopia - a strange planet that's filled to the brim with tasty snacks, such as popcorn, cookies, and jelly trampolines.

Danger Zone and the infamous Space Eagle have also been added to the mix.

Angry Birds Space is available for iPhone for 69p / 99c [buy], for iPad for £1.99 / $2.99 [buy], and Android for free [download].
