Angry Birds Seasons has just been updated with 20 extra levels and the much-anticipated new Pink Bird character.

Autumn's nearly here, you see, and that means only one thing: it's almost time for kids to stop lollygagging around and get back into the classroom.

In honour of this exciting / depressing event, Rovio has added 20 school-themed levels packed with physics-powered carnage to Angry Birds Seasons to help youngsters celebrate their return to academia / vent their unbridled rage.

Fit to burst

To help kids with their ABCs (Angry Birds Completion), they can now enlist the support of the bubble-blowing Pink Bird, whom we spotted in the wild late last week.

Aside from being the first lady bird to appear in an Angry Birds title, she possesses the ability to blow egg-shaped bubbles, which, according to the teaser, bewitches piggies and causes them to unwittingly commit suicide.

You can grab Angry Birds Seasons from the App Store for 69p / 99c on iPhone [buy], or £1.99 / £2.99 on iPad [buy]. An update to the Android version is expected to follow shortly.
