During a recent 'Ask Capcom' community event Capcom has provided a glimmer of hope that
Ace Attorney Investigations 2 may still hit US shelves, or possibly virtual shelves, some time in the future.
Capcom US states that it is “pushing for it”, and that talks with Capcom Japan have been “encouraging” and “optimistic”.
However, the company confirmed that a DS release remains completely off the cards, despite the original release in Japan being for the older Nintendo handheld.
Hold itThis latest news, while still positive, is likely only to fan the flames of frustration for
Ace Attorney fans outside of Japan.
Hardcore followers of the series have started up
an online demonstration for getting the game released on American shores, but for now the likelihood of the game seeing a release outside Japan remains slim.
