Mr Driller burrowing into DSiWare

Namco Bandai has announced that the classic Mr. Driller puzzler is coming to DSiWare this April. Mr Driller: Drill Till You Drop will build on the classic with a host of new features.

On offer for Driller enthusiasts are six new characters, 40 plus stages and a range of different modes to play through, including Mission Mode and Time Attack, all played out over the dual screens.

There's also a brand new game type, Dristone Mode, a more strategic style of play which involves collecting stones and using them to your advantage.

The Nintendo DS last saw a Mr Driller game back in 2005, when the not-so-great Mr Driller: Drill Spirits landed. Hopefully this DSiWare version will fix the problems the DS edition had.
