Publisher Lexicon Entertainment has announced its latest game will be a comic-styled platform-puzzler for DS going by the name of Monster Frenzy.

As well as having a distinctive look, the game will boast a Story Mode which comes with nine levels, each containing 3-4 mini-games and a final boss. Each of these levels will cover various different skills and puzzles - including 'shooting', 'pairs', 'wall', 'chains' and 'mole'. No, we're not too sure what at least two of those are either.

Several of these games can also be played in an Endless Mode, so you'll be able to play Snake until your heart's content, just like in the good old days when that was the only game you had on your phone.

There's also a Multiplayer Mode with two games - one in which you complete a mini-game before your competitor and one where you have to survive the longest.

In other news, the game will be compatible with the scarcely-heard-of-these-days Nintendo Rumble Pack and promises great graphics. You can be the judge of that by looking at the screenshots above. Monster Frenzy is down for an end-of-year release - we'll have more on it as that release date gets closer.
