Yes, Alan Partridge's desperate TV show pitch has finally been made thanks to iPhone developer Sauce Digital (though, to be strictly accurate, the two products probably aren't related.)
Full details are still to be revealed, but we do know that the game will feature Knockout, Championship, and League modes, as well as 30 different monkeys.
The screenshots so far released would suggest that Monkey Tennis involves monkeys playing tennis. This insight combined with the information above adds up to a pretty complete game, so we're curious about what further details will emerge.
Hopefully we'll learn why the game's title screen features a monkey wearing what looks suspiciously like a tennis-themed ball gag.
