You could say there’s a real buzz around Samsung’s latest mobile phone, the E770. Orange has become the first UK operator to sell the handset, which includes a technology called VibeTonz. What’s that? Only the mobile version of the vibration tech that’s inside millions of PS2 and Xbox joypads.

So, VibeTonz-enabled mobile games make the E770 buzz in a variety of different ways corresponding with game action, from staccato machine-gun shots to the bumpiness of driving your car off-road.

Four VibeTonz games will be preloaded on the E770 when it goes on sale next month: Airship Racing, Bobby Carrot, Arch Angel and Freekick Festival. What’s more, publishers like I-play, Superscape and Indiagames will have buzzy titles available on the Orange World portal for download, including King Of Fighters 2 and Andretti Racing.
