If you've been reading Pocket Gamer for a while, then you'll have put up with our various moans about how unfair it is that Korea gets all sorts of fancy mobile games that we don't ever see in the West.

Well, it looks like our days of lamenting that which we can't have are ending. Hands On Mobile has just announced the launch of its Best of Korea programme, an initiative to bring great mobile games from the world's most advanced market to handsets in Europe.

The first titles confirmed as making the jump are Hero's Lore: Wind of Soltia and Sushi Mania.

Arriving first, Hero's Lore is an RPG set in an expansive world featuring the usual dungeons, monsters and magic. The title is the number one best-selling mobile game in Korea, where it has spawned a sequel and even its own comic book.

Sushi Mania is a much more casual three button affair, blending cutesy characters and a signature graphical style that has helped it secure a solid fan base in Korea. The game will surely find a receptive audience amongst us sushi-crazed Westerners, too.

Both are set for release towards the end of the year, with (hopefully) loads more to follow.
