Sometimes navigating around your phone can prove to be as much fun as self dentistry. Luckily we now have the third version of the Zeemote Bluetooth Controller to help ease our pain. According to the press release, it's set to "enhance the entire mobile experience".

For those unfamiliar, the little black/blue controller allows you to perform a variety of phone related tasks. This includes navigating menus, fast web surfing, camera control and interacting with applications. It can also become a remote control for 'Maps & Navigation' and the 'Music & Video Player'.

The latest incarnation of the Zeemote application allows PlayStation 3 Remote Play via the Aino handset, and is now compatible with virtually all Sony Ericsson handsets.

Of course, the most important characteristic of the JS1 is the ability to play games with a joystick, and this potentially opens up a lot of doors for mobile gaming as well as applications in general.

We can't be the only people to see this, because a variety of retailers will offer the Zeemote as part of "The ultimate gamer pack", a package offering not only the controller but also an activation code for a Gameloft game from a sizeable selection.

'Game System packs' will be available from various mobile operators to go alongside releases from developers EA Mobile, I-play and Glu.
