The Walking Dead Match 3 Tales is a new puzzler RPG set in the original comic book universe
Com2uS has just announced the launch of their latest project, The Walking Dead Match 3 Tales, which is being developed in partnership with Skybound Entertainment. It is a new puzzle RPG which takes place in the iconic post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead comic series, and is now available on Android and iOS.
The Walking Dead Match 3 Tales takes players straight into the original comic book series that was created by Robert Kirkman and Skybound Entertainment. The goal is to build a large camp of survivors who can protect themselves from all the zombies via innovative puzzle-based combat taking place in the casual match-3 style.
Waves of Walkers will keep attacking and players will have to match rows of blocks of similar colours in order to attack them. As players progress through the game, they will gather Energy that can be used to unlock character abilities and iconic weapons from the books. Outside of battles, survivors can expand their arsenal by forging weapons, constructing facilities and creating their own town.
The game will feature loads of classic moments from the franchise’s history, while also branching out with original storylines. Players will embark on perilous missions as they take part in daily and weekly quests alongside special challenges. In addition, there are several other large-scale modes to participate in such as All-Out War, Woodbury Arena, and the Highrise Hell dungeon for extra rewards.
