Simpsons mobile game not secret any more

Minutes To Meltdown has you saving Springfield from nuclear disaster

Simpsons mobile game not secret any more

You might remember this story a couple of weeks ago on The Simpsons: Minutes To Meltdown, which is EA Mobile's take on Bart, Homer and chums. At that time, the game was being kept under wraps.

Well, it's not any more. You can buy it right now from Jamster, while it's also gone live on T-Mobile here in the UK.

So what's it about? You do play Homer, as we suspected, and the game involves running around Springfield trying to prevent a nuclear meltdown.

You get to interact with many Simpsons characters – including Bart, Mr Burns, Krusty the Clown, Officer Lou and Apu – while avoiding obstacles like burning tyres and giant sinkholes. And yes, the game does take an isometric perspective not entirely dissimilar to The Sims 2.

Our Simpsons expert is playing through the game as we speak, so click 'Track It!' to be alerted when our detailed review of the game goes live.

In the meantime, feast your eyes on the official screenshots at the top of this story.
