The Isle Tide Hotel reveals first gameplay trailer ahead of next month's launch
Last year, Wales Interactive and Interflix Media announced that they were working on The Isle Tide Hotel, an immersive FMV game coming to mobile, PC, and console in 2023. It tells the story of a father trying to rescue his daughter from a mysterious cult in the titular hotel. With just under a month to go for launch, the developers have released a gameplay trailer to show what the experience will be like.

It’s quite a peculiar place as the resort stays open for only three nights every year, housing some of the weirdest people with strange traumas as they look for the meaning of life.
Unsurprisingly, things go awry as the horrific cult crosses the line by kidnapping Eleanor on the final night. They believe that her sacrifice is the only way they fulfil their purpose. Her father is now in a race against time as he has to quickly make all the right choices if he wishes to see his daughter again.
The game has been created by brother-sister director-producer combo Harry and Grace Chadwick and draws a lot of inspiration from the journey parents undergo while caring for their children. With seven main endings and 14 different outcomes, players are sure to come across a tonne of lore, easter eggs, and hidden scenes that will keep everyone occupied for hours.
The Isle Tide Hotel is also set to be Wales Interactive’s biggest production yet, and it brings acting powerhouses from Game of Thrones and Call the Midwife. The game will release on all major platforms on September 12th. Visit the official website to stay updated on all the latest developments.
