Building a settlement in space definitely sounds like a tedious job and TerraGenesis: Operation Landfall tries to maintain a certain sense of realism by incorporating real NASA science. Players will be tasked with exploring unchartered regions far away from Earth where they must employ intricate building mechanisms to build a thriving city. Like most builder sims, players must maintain their residents’ happiness and health. Each facility and building can be viewed, allowing for a very captivating and interactive experience.

Everything lies in the hands of the players, from recruiting settlers to discovering and managing all the planet’s hidden resources. Surviving on another planet is daunting as no one knows what’s going to be thrown at you. It is a dangerous and unpredictable environment and players will be forced to find solutions to random challenges in their city to survive. Of course, leading and designing a settlement successfully means the advancement could surpass even that of what was achieved on Earth.
