TEPPEN launches Mission of Ruin, the first of a three-part climactic event

The popular card-battler TEPPEN is hosting a massive trilogy of events starting with the Mission of Ruin. These three huge events will feature iconic characters from Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Mega Man, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter series, and more, culminating in a bonkers battle.

It all begins with a simple offer made by Goddess Myria to humanity – salvation. She gives them a home in the Land of Light, where they must abandon their physical bodies and live as souls for eternity. Goddess Myria seems to have quite the hellish take on “salvation”. Anyway, she wants her message spread, and for this, she’s hiring! You must be an influencer of sorts to become one of her missionaries and guardians.

Goddess Myria has already found a few people to fulfil these roles in Mega Man X: Command Mission’s Epsilon, Monster Hunter Explore’s Juno, Resident Evil 4’s Saddler, and Sengoku Basara’s Xavi, who all now have the ability to control minds in order to subvert people into going to the Land of Light. They have been given Mind-control stones that release the humans’ souls when the stone is pressed on their forehead. These soulless bodies can then be controlled by the Guardians or Goddess.

It doesn’t seem like the Goddess has great plans for humankind but this is only part one of three. There is so much more to come and that’s what makes it even more exciting. TEPPEN is celebrating this gigantic event by giving players numerous login bonuses, sales on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and new missions and Chronicle stages.

A new ability called Faith is also being introduced, which gives 1 random Unit Card with Faith in your hand or EX Pocket +1/+1 upon dying. New cards coming with this event include the Purple card ‘Dante,’ Black card ‘Faithful Shadow Decapre,’ Red card ‘Leon S. Kennedy,’ and Green card ‘Cammy,’.
