Lick it for Free

AirPlay has released a free demo version of its BAFTA award-nominated game Super Yum Yum for mobile phone. You can get your sticky fingers on it by pointing your phone’s WAP browser at www.airplayuk.com/demo/list and selecting Super Yum Yum. You’ll be asked to select which version of the game you need for your handset (see the list below) and then you can download and install the game, all for nowt.

You play the role of a very hungry chameleon with a fondness for fruit and a lack of manners. Dropped in the middle of a level and surrounded by strawberries, apples, oranges and more, you have to eat your way out. You eat by shooting out your tongue and using it to pull yourself towards your chosen target and in this manner you can also cross gaps in the floor.

But beware: you can only eat fruit that’s the same colour as you. In turn, your colour depends on the colour of the leaves of the fruit that you just ate. Still with us? It’s easier than it sounds and will (trust us) make perfect sense as soon as you start playing.

The demo contains 9 levels of the Temple World and, we promise, will keep you stuck to your screens like, well, a chameleon’s tongue. Stay tuned for a review of the full game soon on Pocket Gamer.
