Sigma Theory – Global Cold War, is a sci-fi strategic thriller that is the work of PID Games and Mi-Clos Studios. The game has been making news rounds since way back in 2015, with a PC launch that came in 2019. Finally, three years after that, Sigma Theory is now available on iOS. The premise is of a futuristic cold war, where players have immense diplomatic powers which they must use wisely as the future of the planet depends on it.

In this tech-savvy world of the future, every single country is after a technology called Sigma Theory because it allows the owner to essentially control the world as it can bring down global financial systems, but more importantly, it can prevent death. As a result, everyone wants to get their hands on it.

In order to gain control of this technology, all countries have set up a Sigma division and players take on the role of the head of the department in this turn-based strategy game. Players will have to run the entire intelligence agency, hiring only the best agents to achieve their goal.

On this journey of world domination, players will make use of their resources to train covert agents and create advanced tactical drones that will handle a lot of the dirty work. Of course, with this, it is necessary to make use of diplomacy and subterfuge skills to get what you want.

While players will be committing espionage and bending every possible rule, everything is allowed in order to exploit all the benefits of Sigma Theory. Be it manipulating other countries in the name of collaborations and diplomatic summits, or seducing scientists from other countries to join your cause, everything works.
