One of the nice things about mobile is that it's a relatively new gaming platform that doesn't have to fall into the tired old clichés of console gaming. Publishers have the freedom to market mobile games in more imaginative ways than just putting a model in a short skirt and getting her to hold a big weapon.

Some things remain the same, then. Still, we were demoed Glu's title a couple of months ago and were really impressed, so it's good that it's getting the big marketing treatment.

The game itself will see you battling through 20 platform levels, beating off ghouls with a big sword. The early version we played reminded us of several classic platformers in one, so we're itching to get our hands on the final thing. Stand by for a full review soon.
