Learn about bioethanol fuel in a playful way

Anyone fancy a free Saab BioPower advergame?

We've distrusted advergames (free mobile games sponsored by a brand) ever since we played the dreadful Soup At Hand Snowboarding, which united Campbell's Soup and winter sports in a chillingly poor freebie download.

So even though Mobile Interaction had nothing to do with that game, hopefully it'll forgive us for being a little suspicious of its new title, Saab BioPower Challenge.

You see, it's an advergame promoting Saab's 9-3 SportCombi BioPower car, and involves driving said vehicle in three Scandinavian locations as quickly as possible. It even has an online high-score table to see how your times compare to other players.

You can choose whether to run your in-game car on standard petrol or bioethanol fuel, with the marketing message being that you get more power and performance if you choose the latter.

Is it any good? Our Nokia N73 is having an off day, and is refusing to download it, so we'll reserve judgement.

It's free, though (apart from data charges), so have a look by pointing your mobile browser to saab.javaget.com and let us know what you think.
