RuneScape continues Fort Forinthry storyline with the Unwelcome Guests mini-event

Back in February, Jagex kicked off the Fort Forinthry season on RuneScape with the launch of their first questline, titled New Foundations. It was followed by Murder on the Border. The latest addition is a mini-quest which brings an iconic character back to the MMORPG.

Say hello to The Raptor, who joins RuneScape’s latest series of quests titled Fort Forinthry: Unwelcome Guests. Players can expect a Slayer Challenge and new skilling rewards when the event goes live next week.

Unwelcome Guests builds on its predecessor which ended with an army of undead circling the perimeter of the Fort. This mysterious horde must be defeated, and that is possible only with the new Slayer Master’s support, who is the fan-favourite character, The Raptor.

With The Raptor’s help, players must investigate this new threat and find out where the new category of foes is coming from. A tiny piece of the puzzle will be revealed when players take one Zemouregal, the nefarious necromancer. His position in the story will become clearer in future updates.

The update will introduce four brand new slayer creatures – Fetid Zombie, Bound Skeleton, Risen Ghost, and Armoured Phantom, who will drop excellent rewards on defeating. In addition to this, the importance of the Construction skill in Fort Forinthry continues as players will be tasked with building a Guardhouse this time.

The Guardhouse grants buffs for the Slayer skill like damages bonuses and higher spawn rates for Elite monsters. Unwelcome Guests will be available for players who have completed New Foundations and Murder of the Border as well as being on level 10 and 50 in the Slayer and Construction skills respectively.

Fort Forinthry: Unwelcome Guests will be available for members from April 10th onwards.
