Niantic has just released the details of Pokémon Go’s next event, the highly anticipated Harvest Festival. As the season begins to change around us, so does the atmosphere in the popular AR game. More grass-type Pokémon will begin showing up in the wild alongside several others who’ll be part of numerous challenges and activities.

The Harvest Festival in Pokémon Go will kick off on October 12th and will remain available until the 17th at 8:00 pm local time. It will feature the debut of the Olive Pokémon, Smoliv, alongside its evolutions Dollic and Arboliva. A total of 125 Candy will be required to go from the first to the final stage.

Accompanying Smoliv in the wild are loads of other grass-type Pokémon such as Bellsprout, Sewaddle, Petilil, Cottonee, and a lot more. Some region-specific ones include Red Flower Flabébé in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Blue in the Asia-Pacific, and Yellow in the Americas.

Trainers will also be able to take advantage of several bonuses during the event. Mossy Lure Modules will last for two hours and have an increased chance of attracting Pumpkaboo. In addition, catching Pumpkaboo will also award everyone with extra Candy.

Players can also purchase the Ticket of Treats Timed Research for $5.00. It includes special missions which offer goodies similar to the ones listed above.

Finally, a few select PokéStops will also host Showcases during the Harvest Festival. Trainers can enter Smoliv, Pumpkaboo, or Gourgeist into the contest in order to earn a bunch of treats.
