Pokemon Go launches in Hindi with new Aao Khele event in India
Big news for Pokémon Go fans in India and elsewhere too as Niantic’s smash hit AR game is finally available in Hindi. The game supports several languages, allowing players to embark on their journey as a Pokémon trainer in a dialect of their choice. Now, Hindi speakers can take advantage of the same feature, which will be regularly improved and updated.
To celebrate the arrival of the Hindi language in the game, Niantic is hosting the Aao Khele Pokémon Go event until October 14th at 8:00 pm local time. It translates to “Let’s Play” Pokémon Go and will feature several events and activities that players in India can participate in.
First off is a Field Research that offers encounters with the three original starter Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. Plus, trainers can also get their hands on Candy as well as Mega Energy for their evolutions.
The Timed Research is currently live as well and grants valuables like Star Piece, Rare Candy, and Super Incubators on completion. In addition, players will be able to catch Lapras and Snorlax, and perhaps their Shiny versions as well.
