Pokémon Go fans are prepping up for an exciting Community Day featuring Slowpoke and its Galarian variant on March 18th. Just a few days after it’s over, trainers will be roped into another event, as Professor Willow is conducting some wild research.

Between March 21st and 29th, Niantic will host a Let’s GO! Event in Pokémon Go. Field Research will be dominated by Pansage, Pansear, and Pampour, and Shiny versions may appear in the wild for lucky individuals as well.

A Pokémon to look out for during this event is Meltan. The only way to get your hands on this Pokémon is through Mystery Boxes. It will be granted after sending a Pokémon from Pokémon Go either to Pokémon Home or one of the Nintendo Switch titles - Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!

In addition to these Pokémon, Ditto will also be found in the wild, albeit in one of its copied forms. Players will find Pokémon like Diglett, Grimer, Snubull, Corphish, Starly, Roggenrola, Tympole, and Litleo, but which one of them will actually turn out to be Ditto?

To go with all this, trainers will be able to take advantage if a few event bonuses as well. The waiting time for opening Mystery Boxes has been reduced with an increased chance of finding XXS and XXL Meltan in them. Plus, there’s 2x Candy on offer for transferring Pokémon.

Besides Professor Willow, Giovanni is also up to something, and it can’t be good. Another Team GO Rocket Takeover will be held between March 25th and 29th, featuring a Special Research Story. Shadow Regice is at the centre of it all and players must save him from the torture.
