The competition is about to get hotter on PUBG Mobile because there’s a big tournament coming. The PUBG Mobile Club Open Fall is all set to go live soon. In case you haven’t heard about the contest, the PMCO is an esports tournament where amateurs and semi-professionals from 170 different countries fight it out for a USD 600,000 prize pool that is divided between a Spring and Fall event.

Registrations for the fall edition of the PMCO are already open and players can sign up until October 9th. The process was a little tedious last time but Krafton has worked to make it all extremely streamlined and convenient. Applications can now be started from the PUBG app instead of going through the website.

Besides the ease of applying now, players of slightly lower ranks can also join the tournament. For the first time, players belonging to the Silver Rank can also sign up. Earlier, the PMCO was reserved for Platinum ranked and above players, but with the number of people playing PUBG Mobile now, it was about time that the competition expanded.

Once the registration phase is over, qualifiers will be held between October 13th and 19th in Europe and October 17th and 23rd everywhere else. Post this, qualified participants will be divided into six groups based on the region – North America, South America Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Europe.

Since nearly 200 countries are participating, to make the competition more efficient, the decision to shift from country-level matches to six regional group-based matches was made. But the PMCO is just a stepping stone. From here, winners will progress to the new 2022 PUBG Mobile National Championship and the PMNC Regional Cup next year.
