PUBG Mobile is hosting its first ever in-game concert with the pop culture phenomenon BLACKPINK

A new update for PUBG Mobile is about to launch tomorrow and it is promising a massive party. Version 2.1 is all set to celebrate the battle royale’s first-ever concert as Blackpink, the K-pop phenomenon is hosting a concert called The Virtual. Fans of the band can also expect to listen to a special track by Blackpink that is making its debut with the update.

Blackpink has already collaborated with PUBG in the past, but this time they’re upping the ante with the mobile version’s first-ever in-game concert. Just like any live event, players will be able to enjoy vibing to chart-topping songs sung by their favourites. The Album collab between the two was a super hit as well but Krafton is taking things further by giving everyone custom-built performance suits that will be available between July 23rd and August 31st.

Describing the upcoming event, Vincent Wang, Head of PUBG MOBILE Publishing at Tencent Games, said: “PUBG MOBILE is honored to be partnering with BLACKPINK again as we continue to deepen the connection between their amazing music and our game. Our first ever in-game concert is set to be a groundbreaking event, expanding the ever-evolving world of PUBG MOBILE and setting the stage for a BLACKPINK comeback that will be remembered for years to come. We’re incredibly excited to be ushering in a new age of the battle royale - it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!”

Tickets for the show will be available beginning July 15th and they’re absolutely free. The concert will run from July 22nd to 23rd and July 29th to 30th in North & South America, and July 23rd to 24th and 30th to 31st everywhere else. Be sure to collect all event-themed goodies as well.
