PUBG New State's July update introduces a new map, gun, Survivor Pass, and more
It’s that time of the month again when Krafton releases new content for its popular battle royale, PUBG New State. The updates usually feature a new gameplay mode or map, new weapons and changes to pre-existing ones, another Survivor Pass and much more. PUBG New State’s version 0.9.35 update is no different with a bunch of new stuff to look out for.
Kicking things off is a new map for the Team Deathmatch mode called Exhibit Hall. Its been inspired by Troi’s POI of the same name with modifications to suit the mode. There are ten random respawn sites which means you may return away from the fight, or right in the middle of it. While placement is random, sometimes players may respawn at specific points during certain situations so be sure to make the best use of this!
Then comes the new weapon, the MP55 Ultima, a 12-gauge shotgun. As the video shows, the gun packs a punch, especially when used in close quarters. Add a scope to it, muzzle, and stock slot and you have a beast ready to attack anyone that comes near you. A C1 will unlock the MP55’s full potential, making it fully automatic with a slight decrease in vertical recoil. Some adjustments to other guns and items have also been made to make gameplay more satisfying.
Next, the Troi Extreme map has been changed up quite a lot. To name a few adjustments, circle speed is now faster, the matches have been shortened by two minutes, and starting items include the Skorpion, a level one Helmet and Vest, four bandages, one painkiller, and two energy drinks. There is a tonne of graphical and gameplay improvements as well, burning grass, different sounds, refreshed UI and more.
To wrap things up, PUBG New State is also entering Season 4 with new and unique rewards alongside the new Survivor Pass Vol. 9 featuring Honey Becca from the New State faction.
