PUBG New State's February 2023 update introduces the new Lagna map

Krafton has just dropped a much-awaited update for its popular mobile battle royale, PUBG New State. The February 2023 update is a major one because it introduces a brand new map, that the developers have been teasing for a while now. There is also a new Survivor Pass, changes to the map, gunplay, and numerous bug fixes and improvements.

New Map

Lagna is PUBG New State’s latest map and it is inspired by wastelands and deserts. It is a 4x4 km region where the most fruitful way of combat is mid-range scruffles across ridges. To get through the map, there are various traversal options. The majority of it will occur through the new cable car, but there are two new vehicles to look out for as well.

The Rex is a gasoline truck with extreme durability, that fits a total of four players. Second is Action, an electric quad-bike for pairs, which can rapidly reach its speed limit. To celebrate the launch of a new map, the new Scout Lagna event is going live too.

Gunplay and Map Updates

Changes have been made to the screen recoil of various guns so that they are applied correctly. The same has been reduced for the SRs, Mini-14, and SL8, and increased for the P90. Blue Zone Damages during the late game has been increased, while the weight limit of Drone Store purchases is out. The Training Mode will feature infinite ammo and fuel from now onwards.

New Survivor Pass

Volume 16 of the Survivor Pass comes to the battle royale with this update. It is spearheaded by Jenny Quick, who can be obtained by completing all Story Missions for free. The New State Jenny Quick costume will be available for Premium Pass holders and Plus members will get a few additional rewards.
