PUBG New State and Battlegrounds reveal a special Halloween collaboration with Dead by Daylight
We’ve already entered the spooky season as October is upon us and the fear factor is only going to increase as the days go by and we get closer to celebrating Halloween. Krafton has already begun its Halloween 2022 proceedings by partnering with Behaviour Interactive to bring the fan-favourite Dead by Daylight to its battle royales – PUBG: Battlegrounds and PUBG New State.
Players that love PUBG regardless of the platform they play on will be able to enjoy all the spookiness as some of the most iconic killers from Dead by Daylight have made their way into the game. Survivors can expect to find new cosmetic items which definitely shouldn’t be missed if you’re a fan of the horror genre.
In PUBG New State, players will be able to get their hands on some really killer-looking Halloween costumes straight from the game. Each year, scary costumes are released but this one is special, as skins that are identical to their Dead by Daylight counterparts will be available.
All these themed items will go live later this month on October 20th and will be up for grabs for another month until November 23rd. Of course, this is just a sneak peek of all the terrors that are yet to come in New State Mobile. More information about the collaboration will be revealed at a later date.
Do note that console and PC users will have a completely different event, available between October 19th and December 8th. They too will have the opportunity of obtaining Dead by Daylight cosmetics like costumes, masks, backpack skins, pan skins, and nameplates. We’re unsure if the game rewards will be available on mobile, but expect them to be amazing nonetheless.
