No Limit Casino 12 Pack

A real life casino might not be everybody's cup of tea. They tend not to be quite as glamorous as you might expect for starters - usually packed to the rafters with post-clubbers and people who don't really look like they have the cash spare to be throwing it randomly into the ether.

In game-form though, casinos are universally enjoyable. And none more so than Digital Chocolate's No Limit Casino, which isn't a gambling zone that scrimps on the games and tables on offer. As given away by its title, there are 12 different games available. Admittedly three of those are slot machines which are all pretty much the same, but that still leaves quite a variety of other card, trivia and roulette games for you to throw your pretend cash at.

No Limit's variety of games isn't what really stands it out from the casino crowd though. What makes it different is its structure. While most casino games give you a wad of virtual cash that you don't really care about winning or losing seeing as you know it's not real, No Limit sets you targets that are more engaging than just winning more money.

The game comes with various different levels. You start as a Beginner, and then make your way progressively up through High Roller and Master and so-on. With each new level comes new games and higher stakes, and also new challenges.

Completing these challenges is what enables you to move up to the next level and each level has ten of them to complete. There are 60 in total and they're all different, ranging from winning 20 games on any slot machine to getting a natural blackjack to winning with two pairs at poker.

As you'd imagine, they give the game a different feel to your average casino game. While you still need to keep an eye on your bank account in the top left of the screen, you're also playing with a greater goal than simply notching up digits.

There are 12 different casino games to play, although they broadly fall into a handful of categories. Jacks or Better, Double Aces and Faces and Deuces Wild are all straightforward card games where you choose your stake, are dealt five cards, choose which ones to keep based on what will give you a winning hand in that game, then get dealt more cards. If you win, you can then 'double or nothing' your winnings by guessing whether a randomly drawn card is red or black.

Straightforward they are, but they're also very addictive.

Then there's blackjack - which is pretty self explanatory, but which comes in various different forms, such as endurance blackjack or double-or-nothing.

There's also Texas hold-'em, roulette, a trivia quiz and the slot machines. Roulette and the slots being fairly brainless and random, they're not the best of the bunch, although the slot machines do look funky. The trivia quiz solely centres on gambling questions too, which are a bit dull. There's nothing to test your knowledge of Hollyoaks plotlines here.

Still, that leaves seven good games. The control system for each is easy too, and each game comes with instructions at the start so there's no danger of not knowing what you're doing. An option to view the instructions mid-game might have been useful, but then as Texas hold 'em is about as complex as it gets, there's not much chance you'll get stuck.

Essentially, No Limit Casino is one of the best casino games you'll find on mobile. It's got variety, it looks good and there's a proper game structure that goes beyond the normal keep-playing-until-you-get-bored formula. And you won't have to risk waking up the next morning with an empty wallet in a remortgaged house in order to play either.
