Mia and the Dragon Princess releases new trailer as launch date is announced

Wales Interactive, known for acclaimed FMVs like Five Dates, Maid of Sker, and The Bunker, has just announced the release date of their next project, Mia and the Dragon Princess, and it’s sooner than you think. Fans of the genre will be able to embark on this thrilling kickboxing adventure in just three weeks.

To celebrate the release date announcement, a new trailer for Mia and the Dragon Princess was unveiled, which has been embedded below. If you haven’t heard of the FMV yet, it follows the story of Mia, who although dreams of adventure, leads quite a boring job.

Of course, all that changes when a mysterious woman shows up asking for help. Mia takes his opportunity to fulfil her wishes but is soon thrown down a path of intrigue, mystery, and danger. Mia must choose her interactions wisely to find out who the woman is and why people are after her. There are ten different endings to unlock, so be ready for a replay!

With the kind of names involved in the title, you know it’s going to blow the competition out of the water. All the action scenes have been designed by the renowned fight coordinator Marcus Shakesheff who already has adrenaline-pumping titles like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Guardians of the Galaxy and Game of Thrones under his belt,

Add to that stunts created by the famous Taekwondo instructor Aaron Gassor aka Ginger Ninja Trickster, it's going to be quite the adventure. As for the star cast who’ll be pulling all this off, the list includes Paul McGann (Doctor Who, Alien 3, Withnail & I), Brian McCardie (Time, Rob Roy) and MyAnna Buring (The Witcher, Ripper Street), Dita Tantang and Noa Bleeker.

You can currently view the Steam page for Mia and the Dragon Princess, but the App Store and Google Play pages should be up soon. The game releases on all major platforms on May 4th.
