Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon heading to mobile

Final part of the Spyro trilogy gets an October release

Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon heading to mobile

The wee fire-breather Spyro has become something of a cult favourite, so it's quite exciting to get some details on the mobile adaptation of the final part in the Legend trilogy.

We already took a good, long look at the DS Dawn of the Dragon version, and the mobile port appears to uphold the stylistic visuals and adventuring gameplay quite admirably.

Teaming up with Spyro's female equivalent, Cynder, you take control of both dragons in some unique, co-operative gameplay between the two characters to solve a variety of environmental puzzles.

It also promises an extended longevity for this style of game by the inclusion of six hidden areas and gameplay more akin to a classic shoot-'em-up.

All in all, Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon looks more than capable of complementing the DS version, so hit 'Track It!' to stay informed as we race towards the October release date.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
