Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link is finally kicking off its closed beta test soon

It’s been a while since Square Enix revealed new information about the highly-anticipated title, Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link. Back in April, a closed beta test was announced which is finally set to go live soon. Pre-registrations for the CBT have already begun for those in the United Kingdom and Australia.

The Kingdom Heart franchise is one of Disney’s and Square Enix’s most successful and has been running successfully since 2002. Now, after over two decades the series is making its way to iOS and Android in the form of Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link. For the closed beta test, 3,000 participants will be selected to try the game.

Eager players will be able to sign up for the title beginning today, 30th October, until November 19th. Only those picked will be notified by email around November 28th. The CBT for iOS users will be held between November 29th and December 8th. Players on Android will unfortunately have to wait until January 2024 until they get a chance to try the game.

We still don’t know much about the game, but it will probably be a third-person action game like the rest of the series, along with some JRPG mechanics sprinkled into the mix. It will definitely be heavy on the lore side as it is set to fill the gap between two of the previous mobile entries – Kingdom Heart Union X and Dark Road. The upcoming title should make the overarching story feel more complete.

If you're interested in testing out Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, then you can sign up for the closed beta test from the official website. Join the rest of the community on the Facebook page to stay updated on all the latest developments.
