Grr! Hulk Hogan to star in wrestling mobile game

Hulk Hogan's a wrestler? I thought he was just a reality TV star with a sideline in family movies. Lumme.

Okay, so that's being cheeky. I remember the glory days of Hulk's wrestling career perfectly well, even though they were a couple of decades ago.

Gameloft clearly does too, as it's signed a deal to release Hulkamania Wrestling for mobile. It'll offer an isometric view with 'eccentric wrestlers' and 'humorous dialogue', as well as moves including the Strong Clothesline, Spinbuster, Pedigree, Doublehand Choke Lift and Triple Flying Nutsack Crusher.

Well, all except that last one.

You'll have a choice of Hulk and seven other wrestling stars - presumably not from the WWE, given that THQ owns that licence - and you'll be able to chuck chairs around and toss your opponents onto tables.

Yes, yes, but what does Hulk himself make of his imminent mobile stardom, you're probably wondering?

"Hulkamania is alive and well and I'm excited to give my fans a mobile game that is true to my experiences in wrestling," he says. "I'm confident that Gameloft will inject their signature style to produce the ultimate wrestling game for all my fans to enjoy on the go."

So there.

The game is due out in August.
