Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is celebrating its 5th anniversary with a tonne of events and rewards
Jam City and Portkey Games have just announced that their popular mobile RPG, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a tonne of in-game events. Players will be taken on a trip down memory lane as they relive iconic moments from the last five years. Dumbledore has organised a monthlong celebration with bucketloads of rewards to earn.
It seems like Potterheads have really kept Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery alive. When the game launched in 2018, it was the first HP title that let players create their own character and experience life as a Hogwarts student.
Thanks to this thrilling experience, the game has amassed more than 78 billion minutes of playtime, during which, 662.5 million spells were cast, 2.2 trillion house points earnt, and a whopping 552 million quidditch matches were played.
To kick the festivities off, everyone can participate in the Happy Anniversary, Hogwarts Mystery Magical Milestones event, which grants a new themed outfit. On top of that, players can also earn a Party Outfit based on their House for free.
Dumbledore has a history lesson planned for wizards as they learn about Hogwarts and more about the school, while also helping Hagrid throw a delicious feast. In addition, players take partake in the Carnival event to win even more goodies every week.
