Guitar Hero III Mobile comes to BlackBerry

Hands-On Mobile has teamed up with Magmic Games to bring Guitar Hero III Mobile to BlackBerry smartphones.

It's based on the existing mobile version released by Hands-On, with Magmic bagging exclusive distribution rights for BlackBerry, via its bplay.com portal.

The game offers a choice of four guitars and three venues, and offers rhythm-based rawk action, with you having to jab number keys to match the coloured notes onscreen.

Tracks on the BlackBerry version include Cherub Rock, Suck My Kiss, and Monsters and, like the mobile version, players will be able to download three new songs every month.

We don't have a BlackBerry, so we can't check if the game is downloadable here in the UK from bplay.com (and in any case, at the time of writing, the game's product page is down).

Still, it's good news for BlackBerry users. In the meantime, we're looking forward to the regular mobile version touching down here in the UK in a matter of months.
