Glu Mobile has announced its lineup of mobile games for the first three months of 2008, and they all sound pretty exciting. We've already reviewed
LMA Manager 2008, but two other console franchises are heading our way too.
Colin McRae: DiRT will be Glu's first
Colin McRae game, and will feature 3D graphics, licensed cars, and Rally Cross, Hill Climb and CORR Racing modes. Whatever that last one is.
Meanwhile, Glu is also publishing
Metal Gear Acid for mobile this quarter, using a similar trading-card mechanic as the
PSP version. You play Solid Snake (obviously), infiltrating a nefarious terrorist compound to blow up a weapon of mass destruction.
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow -
as based on the GBA game - is on the way, courtesy of Glu's partnership with Konami. It promises a mix of classic action-platforming and vampire thrills, with some new features to boot. Meanwhile,
Diner Dash 2 is a conversion of the popular casual game, with new restaurants, customer types, and a hirable mariachi band.
Finally,
CrossPix is an own-IP game focusing on logic puzzles, where you have to reveal pictures by completing a grid. If that sounds like
PicoPix to you... well, you'd be right. Over 135 puzzles will be included.
