Genshin Impact unveils slate of events for phase one of the version 3.7 update
We’re just a day away from the launch of Genshin Impact’s latest update, version 3.7, which has been titled Duel! The Summoners’ Summit. It brings in a plethora of content, especially for TCG lovers as it features a massive Genius Invokation Tournament while also introducing a new playable character. Let’s look at what players can expect in the first half of this update.
Event Wishes
Phase one of Genshin Impact’s v3.7 update kicks off with three event wishes, which significantly boost the drop rates for certain 4- and 5-star characters and weapons. They will be available until June 13th, with Kirara, the new hero part of all of them.- Tapestry of Golden Flames – 5-star Yoimiya (Pyro)
- Everbloom Violet – 5-star Yae Miko (Electro)
- Epitome Invocation – 5-star Thundering Pulse Bow and 40star Kagura’s Verity Catalyst
Story Events
Yoimiya’s story continues in this patch with the release of Carassius Auratus Chapter: Act II. On top of that, players above AR 40 who manage to clear a few other questions will get a chance to interact with Kaveh during his Hangout Event.Gameplay Events
The hallmark of this update is the titular event, Duel! The Summoners’ Summit is slated to be held between May 25th and June 19th. It features the King of Invokations Grand Prix, a TCG tournament organised by the Adventurers’ Guild. It will include a variety of gameplay modes with multiple rewards like the Ibis Piercer Bow, Crown of Insight, and Weapon Refinement Materials up for grabs.Travellers can also participate in Divine Ingenuity: Collector’s Chapter next month. It sees players choose from multiple Present and Custom Domains, each with their unique challenges. Rewards on offer include Primogems, Weapon Ascension Materials, and Talent Level-Up Materials.
Finally, there are a couple of additional TCG events to participate in as well. In The Forge Realm’s Temper, players will enter a five-stage battle, with each level having different parameters and difficulties. The other one is Heated Battle Mode: Tactical Formation and it involves using Character Cards and randomly generated Action Cards in the match.
