Fortnite's collaboration with My Hero Academia is now live

Just a few days after Fortnite announced a collaboration with My Hero Academia, Deku and his friends have now joined the battle royale. Four heroes from the popular anime series have made their way to Fortnite and players can pick them up right now from the Item Shop.

The first is, of course, the series’ protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, or Deku, who became a hero once he inherited the One For All Quirk. A student of the Hero Course at U.A. High School, Deku is on the path to becoming the greatest champion of them all. He joins Fortnite with the All Might Collectible Back Bling and the Blackwhip Axe Pickaxe.

Next up is All Might himself, Deku’s mentor and The Symbol of Peace. He comes with the Principal Nezu Bac Bling, All Smite Pickaxe, and a built-in emote that transforms him from a normal-looking persona into the Pro-Hero.

Izuku’s childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugo enters the fray too. He also wants to be the greatest hero so naturally, there’s some tension with Deku. Bakugo will be seen with the Grenade Backpack Back Bling and the Cluster Buster Pickaxe.

Finally, we have, you guessed it, Ochaco Uraraka. The Class 1-A student who’s smitten by Deku too wants to be a hero like him. Ochaco wants to save both citizens as well as other heroes, which she does with the Uravity Booster Back Bling and the Uravity Smasher Pickaxe.

That’s not all, though. Players can try out the One For All themselves by using Deku’s Smash, similar to the Kamehameha and wreak havoc through the Island. Supply Drops inspired by All Might will be seen dropping down as well. The Item Shop will additionally feature the Symbol of Peace and Hero Analysis Emotes as well.

To top it off, players can visit the Training Gym Island and complete its challenges to get the UA Cape Back Bling. The quests will remain live until December 29th.
