Fortnite is bringing back the Galaxy Cup series for Android with the Khari (Galaxy Evolved) skin as the reward

Fortnite has lost quite a bit of its mobile populace thanks to the while Epic vs Apple debacle, which ended up in the super popular battle royale being removed from the App Store and, eventually, Google Play. This never was the end for the game on mobile though. Android users still have been able to download and play Fortnite through Epic’s official website and the Samsung Galaxy Store. And while it does seem like this platform was kinda ignored, Epic is giving Android users the spotlight with their latest Galaxy Cup.

That’s right, an exclusive tournament for Android users is back, and, of course, it brings the Galaxy touch with it. It all began with the launch of the Samsung Note 9 which allowed players to obtain the Galaxy skin by playing a few matches. Since then, the trend has continued. This weekend will see Android players take part in the third Galaxy Cup, which gives them a chance to earn the Khari (Galaxy Evolved) Outfit and Truth’s Quiver Back Bling before they’re available for everybody in the item shop. Winners will get an extra Terrabound style variant as well.

On July 16th and 17th, the contest will take place. Players will participate in a Zero Build Solo competition. The point system like always will be based on placement and the number of eliminations. Each day players will have up to two hours to play, during which they make take part in seven matches. Winners will be the highest point-getters from each region. They will receive the Khari (Galaxy Evolved) Outfit and Truth’s Quiver Back Bling and all players gaining eight or higher points will get the Galaxy Creation Spray.

Get prepped for Galaxy Cup Three by downloading Fortnite from the official website or from the Samsung Galaxy Store. Sorry Apple users, you guys will have to sit this one out.
