Jinx from League of Legends is making her way to Fortnite to celebrate the release of Arcane

League of Legends seems to be making its way to battle royales to celebrate the launch of the upcoming Netflix show Arcane. Arcane is an original show set in Runeterra and is based on the MOBA. Act One of the show releases tomorrow, November 6th and Act Two on the 13th. Act Three, the final instalment, will then release on November 20th.

We first saw a glimpse of Arcane appearing outside the show in PUBG Mobile, when a tweet hinted at a crossover event. Now, Riot Games has announced that Jinx, one of the League of Legends Champions, is making her way to Fortnite. This will be the first appearance of a LoL character outside the game.

Brandon Miao, Cross-Product Experiences and Partnerships Lead, Riot Experience at Riot Games said: “Fortnite has executed high profile collaborations and entertainment experiences while remaining committed to bringing players content that enriches their experience both in and out of game, a dedication we share and admire. We hope fans will enjoy seeing Jinx, one of our most iconic League of Legends champions, in Fortnite to celebrate the launch of Arcane.”

Players can enjoy Arcane-themed apparel, including an Arcane Jinx outfit, Pow Pow Crusher pickaxe, Jinxed Spray, and Jinx’s Dream Monkey back bling, as part of the Jinx Set. Two new loading skins include the Wreaking Havoc Loading Screen and Katchoo! Loading Screen. Finally, players can also purchase the instrumental Playground track to play in the lobby. Using the game's virtual currency, Vbucks, players can purchase the entire set or the items individually.

No Fortnite for iOS users unfortunately but Android users can download the game from the Epic Games website.
