Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier showcases new features like the Chocobo Farm, Collections, and more

Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, the upcoming battle royale set in the super popular Final Fantasy universe, is releasing on November 17th. People are clearly excited to play this game because it has already crossed over a million pre-registrations in just ten days. At the moment, players will receive a Chocobo Egg, Shinra Mask Skin, Shinra Bike Skin, and Shinra Utility Vehicle Skin once the game launches. A million more pre-orders and they will get the Shinra Helicopter skin.

Ateam Entertainment and Square Enix have also released some new information about the battle royale today. Every player will already receive one Chocobo Egg for the 300,000 pre-registrations milestone. These can be incubated and hatched in the Chocobo Farm in order to breed them for battle. The farm can house up to seven eggs, which can be fed to increase stats like speed and HP. Raise the chicken-like creature the way it suits your play style and dress it up using skins.

The First Soldier’s Season 1 gives players the option of earning Moogle-themed skins. While playing matches, defeat monsters to gain special boxes containing data items. These can then be exchanged for cosmetics in the Collection feature. Right now, it’s the cute Moogle skins, but these will change every season.

Items from the Final Fantasy VII universe are also making their way into The First Soldier. These items are purchasable using Gil, which is earned by playing matches. Fans of the series will recognise some of these items like the Nail Bat (sword skin), Umbrella (staff skin), Military Gloves (hand-to-hand skin), Origami Crane (shuriken skin), and the Conch Shell Knife (dagger skin).

A little under a week to go for the launch of this epic new battle royale. You can still pre-register for Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier on the App Store and Google Play to earn rewards when the game launches.
