European Football 2007 announced for mobiles

Now that May has arrived, kids up and down the country are once again stepping outside to plonk down their makeshift jacket goalposts and get muddy knees with some good old 25-a-side park football. Meanwhile, adults make half-hearted promises about joining a Sunday league, all the while suspecting that the closest they're going to come to playing football outdoors is with their handheld game of choice.

The latest to distract the latter from the guilt of their couch potato lifestyles is European Football 2007 from Wireless Sharks. This 2D isometric mobile football outing hosts 32 European teams, and boasts a variety of modes including Training, Friendly, and Championship.

The title also features fairly impressive-sounding in-game options, such as the ability to change tactics and formations. Add to that some solid-looking visuals, weather effects and an action replay option, and European Football 2007 might just have the talent going forward required to compete against seasoned pros such as Real Football 2007.
