Devolver Digital teases two mobile games slated for release later this year
|

Indie games publisher Devolver Digital has teased two new free to play mobile games that it may be releasing sometime this year.

The reveal came in a tweet made by the Texas-based company, reading: “Gonna drop a weird F2P mobile game later this year. Maybe two.”

The exact details on these two games are unknown beyond that. This includes possible platforms they will release on between iOS and Android, what kind of free to play model it will support, and which developers will be working on the games.

It’s possible one of these games could be a project headed by Beans Team in Canada, who had only recently entered a partnership with Devolver Digital to release a new game on unknown platforms. You should check out its website, because it’s definitely quite a sight to behold.

In terms of how “weird” these games could get, remember this is the publisher that released games like Minit, Gato Roboto, and Dropsy.

Devolver Digital was founded in 2009 in Austin, Texas. It has since published a huge catalogue of games, including popular titles such as Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, Hotline Miami, and the more recent Loop Hero.

We should expect more details on these two mystery mobile games to be revealed later this year. Devolver has also revealed on Twitter that it has made plans for E3 2021, so it’s possible we’ll know more on 12th June. Devolver's E3 conferences are famous for being completely absurd, so we'll be tuning in either way.
