Call of Duty: Black Ops Mobile touching down on Java portals next week

We at Pocket Gamer pride ourselves in promoting little known games that might turn out to be rather good when they see a release, so it’s with great pleasure that we can reveal that the Java version of a game entitled Call of Duty: Black Ops Mobile will be arriving on mobile portals next week.

This obscure title takes the form of an action-packed linear shooter set in the Cold War and features over ten missions, with improved AI and a "high quality sniping option".

There are rescue missions to perform, sabotaging to be done, important strategic locations to be defended and even assassinations to carry out over the course of the game, which will no doubt try to capture some of that unmistakable CoD essence for the smaller screen.

The previous outing on mobiles, Modern Warfare: Force Recon, managed to bag a Pocket Gamer Silver Award last year, so we have high hopes for this new entry when it deploys next week.
