Vivendi baking up Cake Mania 2 for mobile
Will we be oven-glovin' this one?
Vivendi Games Mobile has announced that it's to release Cake Mania 2 for mobile. The game is based on the second instalment of the PC series of the same name – a series that's sold more than 70 million downloads.
The game sees you playing top cake-maker Jill, who gets to run six different bakeries during the course of the game. That makes 72 levels of action in all, with the press release promising "baking and frosting madness". Well, it would, wouldn't it?
The basic gameplay will be familiar to anyone who's played the Diner Dash games on mobile or PC: you run around the onscreen environment juggling different tasks – in this case, baking cakes, icing them and selling them to the right customer.
It looks like the game's had a graphic overhaul since the first Cake Mania mobile game (pictured), which was released by RealArcade last year.
